This fund helps to meet the unrestricted needs of children who have lost a mom or dad to domestic homicide, as well as innovative programs to break the cycle of abuse. In addition, a portion of funds raised locally are earmarked to support Cut It Out of the Salons Against Domestic Abuse Fund and a local nonprofit beneficiary organization - such as Eve's Place, a west valley 501c3 non-profit safe house that provides valley women and children with the supportive services needed to safely escape abuse, restore hope and rebuild their lives.

If you or someone you know needs help,
call the National Domestic Violence Hotline – 1-800-799-SAFE

Chances are someone you know has been a victim of domestic abuse as an adult or as a child. It happens in college dorm rooms, escalates silently behind the façade of beautiful homes, follows children to school, impacts productivity in the workplace, has pervasive and complicated root causes and sometimes leads to death. Domestic abuse is a silent epidemic because there are countless numbers of victims who do not report or seek help. Girls Night Out to Cut Out Domestic Abuse™ was founded in August 2006 by a domestic abuse survivor as a way to not only break her own silence and help others do the same, but as a method to build a national network of survivors and volunteers who collectively work to fill a gap in mass awareness, cause marketing, fundraising and grassroots advocacy for this silent epidemic.
